replace his PeopleSoft Principal Software Engineer who just put in their
notice. Current resource has a combined skillset of solution, functional
and technical skill set.Require an extremely talented, senior level person
to assist us with multiple efforts:Support Day to Day Business enhancements
and regular projects (Taleo, ACA, Tax Updates) Supervise Development Staff
(off/on shore Model) Technical Lead position for SVU on a technical Upgrade
of PS from 8.8 to 9.2 (PS HCM, CRM, Fusion Compensation, Portal) – we do
have a systems integrator and are looking to enter UAT in JulyHere are the
high- level job requirements:Subject: People Soft HCM Solution Architect /
Principal Engineer / Tech LeadBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a
related discipline preferred Preferred 10+ years of experience with
technical development in PeopleSoft. Preferred 2 or more implementation
and/or support project experience with PeopleSoft HCM 8.x or 9.x.  Should
have solid functional understanding of Core HR, Benefits (Base & Benefits
Administration), NA Payroll, Self Service & Security modules. Prior
experience or good understanding of PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal is
preferred. Knowledge on CRM 8.x or 9.x and/or Oracle Fusion modules is
added advantage. Proficient with Application Tools: Application Designer,
Application Package, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Workflow, Integration
Broker, Process Scheduler, PIA, Data Mover, Component Interface, SQR, and
Query Manager. Solid understanding/knowledge of Oracle database and
proficient in writing/tuning SQL. Preferred knowledge and understanding of
Object Oriented Programming or Java. Should be able to guide the Technical
team Onsite/offshore on design and approach. Should be able work with
management to define long-term road map for the HR Systems. Should be able
to work with DBA’s/PSADMIN’s to architect the environment and suggest
improvements as required. Evaluate/Implement technical solutions related to
the integration of PeopleSoft with external systems (e.g. Web applications,
Enterprise Service Bus etc.) Explain technical implementations to
end-users, business customers, management and other IT departments, either
verbally or in writing. Negotiate skillfully with both internal and
external groups, assuring successful results. Provide support for business
and/or systems analysts during requirements definition meetings and
creation of functional designs. Interpret customer requirements and map
them to appropriate technical solutions. Acts as the PeopleSoft technical
and support SME. Preferred experience with Onsite-Offshore model.*
