*Role: Cisco Telepresence Support Engineer*

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: Long term contract

 *Job Summary*

Expectations for the Cisco TP Engineer are to have a high exposure to Cisco
Video, data and IP Telephony technologies, as well as knowledge and
experience with a converged environment. Exhibit consistent technical
skills in areas of Video, and TCP/IP Internetworking in a Cisco
environment. Video
Engineer is also accountable for supporting and delivering availability by
supporting all incidents with the efforts of assessing risk, coordinating
resolution with our remote monitoring partners, and delivering assigned
incidents/projects. Video Engineer will also coordinate with
Application/Technology Stewards on estimation and prioritization of work as
needed, and cooperatively identify development plan tasks and action item
creation

 *Responsibilities*

Ø  Business Video Recurring Problem and Root-Cause Analysis Support

Ø  Remediate all related PSIRT vulnerabilities and validate after changes
are implemented on TP endpoints and video infrastructure including CUCM,
VCS, and TMS

Ø  Provide operational and project support on both legacy Telepresence CTS
units and Cisco Tandberg units including MX,EX,SX series

Ø  Provide operational and project support on Cisco TMS, VCS, and CUCM

Ø  Provide direct Cisco Remote Operations Support (Cisco RMS) escalation
support if needed during implementation, and involve a virtual support team
as necessary

Ø  Evaluate the current  Infrastructure and provide design guidance with a
view on future growth, features, functionality and expansion

Ø  Review of the potential impacts/risks to Cisco UC environment

Ø  Work with customer during implementation to address integration issues
and provide subject matter expertise

Ø  Be available for remote assistance during cutover activities

 *Qualifications*

Ø  Experience in prevailing industry video architecture and engineering
methodologies - MSF and ITIL preferred. Must have an understanding of how
to identify and instill industry best practices.

Ø  Ability to diagnosis video equipment problems, following sound
troubleshooting procedures to find solutions

Ø  Extensive experience with video infrastructure and server theories,
principles and concepts; video application infrastructure and standards;
networking fundamentals; Windows, Linux; SAN storage systems; clustering;
physical server architecture; VCS, TMS, CUCM,  LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network
technologies.

Ø  Knowledge of Cisco Enterprise Video equipment Cisco CUCM, Cisco TMS,
VCS, Tandberg MX, EX,SX series TP endpoints, and CTS 3K legacy systems

Ø  Knowledge and understanding of IP, Routers, Switching basics

Ø  Possess ability to translate technical issues into understandable
business language for end users.

Ø  Requires understanding impact of network and video solutions on business
operations.

Ø  Experience providing technical and operational leadership to IT
professionals.

Ø  Strong IT management, documentation, planning and organizational skills.

Ø  Possess ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and respond
under pressure.

Ø  Proven ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.

Ø  Requires professional written and oral communication skills and problem
solving skills.

Ø  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems
or other related field or has equivalent work experience.

Ø  Certification(s) are a plus, such as, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE Video
