We have an immediate Openings with Our Direct Client for a Long term contract position *Job Title **: **Android Engineer* *Job description* *Education: * Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience. *Required experience * • 3 years’ experience in Android development • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes • Has expertise with Android SDK and NDK, Java and C++ • Hands on experience in creating reusable Android libraries and components • Strong knowledge on JNI on the Android platform - create shared libraries • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices • Familiarity with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interfaces to integrate devices • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning • Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch” • Familiarity with image processing functions • Ability to interface to server using REST web services and consume data exposed through REST web services • Strong technical documentation ability • Strong verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in team-based development projects *Preferred Experience * • Exposure to design patterns, unit testing, source code control, and agile development methods Certifications/Licenses: Development related certification/s from Google, Microsoft, Sun, Oracle preferred. *Location : Rancho Cordova, CA* *Duration: 12+ Months* If you are interested, please send me your updated resume with your contact number.
