Please respond back to [email protected] or call me on (925) 973-0000 Ext 216. *Note : Need A Consultant ASAP...!!!!!!!* *Job Title : Network Engineer* *Location : Pittsburgh, PA* *Duration : 6-12 Months Contract* Install & Configure Firewalls and Load Balancers (F5/FortiNet/Cisco/McAfee) Manage LAN/WAN/EWN Connectivity (Cisco Nexus/Motorola/Juniper) Design & Develop LAN/WAN/WLAN Environments Manage cabling and related infrastructure (Ethernet/Fiber) Install & Configure Routers, Switches, Hubs Understand and perform packet capturing and analysis Monitor and Tune Environments Conducting Business Process Simulations and User Acceptance Testing Ensure “LAN/WAN/WLAN” strategies are utilized for new implementations. Ensure “High Availability”, “DRP” strategies are utilized . Participate in all phases, from planning to implementation, of network infrastructure solutions in support of current and future business requirements. Stay up-to-date on current and future network infrastructure technologies, capabilities and trends. Develop and maintain broad awareness of the hardware, software, and networking infrastructure components of the Strategic System Architecture. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stake holders Manage Network Security including policies and procedures Recommend Hardware & Software Purchases Communicate regularly with your manager. Provide status updates, identify areas and opportunities for improvement, and escalate problems. Maintain an optimistic attitude; follow the highest ethical standards in all activities undertaken. *The selected candidate will have:* BS/BA Computer Science, Business, Engineering. 3+ years progressively responsible business experience supporting the implementation of complex business critical networks. 3+ year’s direct networking administration responsibilities 3+ years implementing network infrastructure components including “High Availability”, “Backup & Recovery”, and “DRP” Solutions. 3+ year’s network strategy and design experience. Strong IT infrastructure knowledge and understanding of LAN/WAN/WLAN, Firewalls/DNS/DHCP, High Availability Solutions. Good Communication Skills - High degree of verbal and written proficiency. Use and support of structured support and maintenance processes and techniques. Knowledge and experience in a TQM, 6 Sigma, ISO 9000, or SEI/CMM environment preferred.
