For priority, try the instructions given here:
http://tiddlywiki.org/wiki/MonkeyGTD/Customisation_Guide

Works for me (I only added to actions, not projects).

I did my header (in TitleButtons) a bit differently than is given on
that page. Mine begins

!Action
<!--{{{-->
<div class="actioncontrols controls controlstint">
 <div style="float:right;" class="smaller">
 <span class="label">Realm:</span><span macro="multiSelectTag Realm
allowNone:on"></span>
 <span macro="tag Action"></span><span macro="help Action"></span>
<br><span class="label">Priority:</span><span macro="multiSelectTag
Priority allowNone:on"></span>

The Priority dropdown seems to look nicer in that location.
