Did you figure this one out? You can make a tickler by clicking +tickler, choosing a date and a name.
Ticklers only alert you (with the hopefully flashing *tickler* message at the top) once their date has arrived or passed. So if you create a tickler it won't usually alert straight away. In the work menu there is Tickler Dashboard where you should be able to see all your ticklers including future dated ones. Anway let me know if it's still not working. Simon.
