Exactly what steps did you take to download the file?  If you used the
browser's File>Save As... menu item, it won't work right... it results
in a damaged TW file being stored on your local filesystem.

To download a TW document, either:
A) right-click on a link to that document and choose "Save link as..."
B) some TW documents offer a 'download' button that triggers a server-
side script to transfer a copy of the file to your system.
C) Tiddlyspot offers a built-in download URL for each user.  If you
visit
   http://marcwomm.tiddlyspot.com/download
into your browser location input, it will trigger a 'download-and-
save' dialog box.
