Good morning!
Due to lots of software issues too numerous to list, I'm back to using
a tiddlywiki to track my to do list. My problem is I need a due date
field. I've tried using ticklers to organize, but they only appear
after the date recorded, and I need to see the to do items before
that.
I know this isn't exactly how GTD works, but my problem is many of my
next actions take hours, but can't actually be broken down into
smaller steps. For example, I have to write an Excel 2010 class. That
can take a few days, but I can't actually break the actions down into
smaller chunks (at least not until the class has been written and I
know what the different modules are). However, to keep on schedule it
needs to be completed by a certain time. (And yes, I know this is more
like Project Management....)
I love the mGSD interface, and I'm currently handling it by putting
the due date as part of the title. However, it would be great if I
could figure this out.
I've researched how to add a field, and I've done one, but it only
shows up when I use the "New Tiddler" option. Is there any
documentation you can recommend that will show me how to modify mGSD
to show the new field?
Thanks!
