Hi, Lovelies! I'm a happy TW user, and am just getting into using GTD methods. I'm most of the way through the GTD book, and am feeling hot to trot to start using mGSD. I am starting with the 3.1.8c beta version. Thank you, Simon! It looks super awesome. I feel confident that I'll be able to learn a lot on my own, and ask questions here along the way, but before feeling good about wanting to just jump in and explore stuff, I want to make my new mGSD feel a bit more like my own. I have some basic questions that my normal use of my basic TWs hasn't helped me answer.
Such as (not in order of importance): 1. What the heck does mGSD stand for? My guesses so far are micro/ magic/mini/monkeyGettingStuffDone ? Not that this is important to useful function, but just because I am curious... why the S instead of the T? 2. I haven't figured out how to edit/delete contexts and realms. Help, please? I don't want an Offline context, for instance, or at least don't right now. I'd rather delete all/most of the contexts that come in the default mGSD, and then add new ones in as I build the content of the mGSDTW, even if I still end up re-adding an Errands context later. It just feels wrong to me to have empty contexts waiting around, or empty realms waiting around for me to have to fill up. Plus, I'd rather rename some of them different things. 3. I'm not finding any way to change the 'options,' such as my name (instead of YourName, or 'council,' which is what I was using on the http://www.firemaker.org TW I made. For some reason, 'council' just shows up on this new mGSD, even though I have not imported nor shared any tiddlers between them. Is there some way to access the basic TW sidepanel options, such as ability to change name and check certain settings for saving options? Am I just not seeing this? Also, is there some way to prevent that name leak between TWs? I would prefer to use a different name in at least three of my current four TWs, as they are used for rather different purposes. 4.
