Hi to everyone, First of all I want to introduce myself. My name is Alexandre Vázquez (Alex) I'm a spanish computer engineering student in my last year and I'm looking for a GSOC project for this summer. I found that your project, GTG, has a single idea for GSOC about activate 'online sync' with many online to-do list systems such as Google Task and similar services, but this idea is already being developed. I want to start to collaborate into this project inside the GSOC but I want a idea to develop and contribute to do better this project. I know I can do my own idea, but I guess if your project is a new project you may have many ideas to want to implement but you don't have time to do that. I assume that is better to develop the ideas that exist inside the group of developers that do my own petition which surely be less important and interesting to the project.
I have all the time this summer to work to this project. 40 hours/week more or less and I have some experience with python development in tiny applications such as google reader sync or something like that. Some years ago, I developed a DVB-T player <https://edge.launchpad.net/dvbt-player>with C++/Qt which is hosted in launchpad. I would appreciate if the developers can share to me some ideas which I can to do, study and do a "project report". If the ideas are small or tiny I can do or develop many of it.
