Not much to add, as I don't use RTM and am still on gtg 0.2.4, but GTG stores it's config in ~/.config/gtg and it's data in ~/.local/share/gtg, like well behaved linux apps should: http://standards.freedesktop.org/basedir-spec/basedir-spec-latest.html - where ~ is your home folder.
