The Plugin manager doesn't interpret newlines right. It just prints the
"\n" out like in: Notification area plugin.

I just know some tiny little Perl. And there it would be a matter of
changing single to double quotes, or not?. Don't know about Python...
but looks like this could easily be fixed.

Bug description:
I think that it's a bit hard to understand at first glance what the plugin is 
about. Maybe we could show a couple of lines of the description.
Maybe we could just do that with the selected plugin.
Ideas?
