I can confirm that typing in file:/// style links referencing local
files does not work.
Please elaborate further on your concept for this feature, perhaps
including screenshots, an example workflow for how a typical user would
utilize it, and so forth. Remember, Keep It Simple since if development
looks easy it's more likely to get implemented than if it is too blue
sky.

Bug description:
Say I have some related files to the task. Instead of attach to the task entry,
I would like to be able to insert the link and simply open the file by click
the link.
Tomboy has this function. Could GTG also has it?
