I am an engineer doing research in academic institution. So here is my proposed workflow:
1) Open up GTG, find the related project. (See attached Fig. 1) 2) Click the link to the local folder to start working. (See attached Fig. 2) 3) Open up the local folder, which usually contains the spreadsheet (I dealt with data a lot) and a openoffice word file. (See attached Fig. 3) 4) The odt file itself can contain more links, thus I organize all my related information there. (See attached Fig. 4) ** Attachment added: "zip file contains all the figures to the description" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/45727238/Figures.zip -- Add support for local file:/// style links https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/563328 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Gtg contributors, which is subscribed to Getting Things GNOME!. Status in Getting Things GNOME!: Incomplete Bug description: Say I have some related files to the task. Instead of attach to the task entry, I would like to be able to insert the link and simply open the file by click the link. Tomboy has this function. Could GTG also has it? _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~gtg Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~gtg More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
