The same happens for me when enabling the "closed tasks remover" plugin.
As soon as gtg is closed and reopened, the tick will be gone and the
plugin deselected and therefore not loaded.

Bug description:
After setting the Plugins to activate Tomboy/Gnote plugin, the setting was
saved in the same gnome session. But after restarting the computer, the plugin
settings were back to none.
