If the uri is to ugly we shouldn't display it you're right. But we cant ling task without knowing the uuid. If the feature is there we should be able to use it and now we can't (except in plugins). I wish be able to link a task in another one without having a dependence between them for example or link a task in a note as you describe in your merge proposal. So if we don't display the uri, perhaps could we have a way to copy it in the clipboard ? -- Task-id is displayed nowhere in the GUI https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/615955 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Gtg contributors, which is subscribed to Getting Things GNOME!. Status in Getting Things GNOME!: New Bug description: GTG URI had been introduced recently and look like "gtg://<task-id>" but I don't find task-ids anywhere in the GUI so I can't link my tasks. Perhaps the task URI could be displayed in the task view interface. A task browser action could also be append to copy the URI of one task in the clipboard. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~gtg Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~gtg More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
