You know that if install a package, may be it creates a directory in your home directory which begin dot. Such as .purple (pidgin appl) Recently i see many of appl such as evolution don't use this method and use .local .gnome2 .gnome or so on. I don't know different between them and don't know any idea on them, dot or gnoem configuration. I'm starting to write a appl with GTK and confused to decide dot method or gnome structure. if gnome structure is better, can you give me clue about its APIs? Yours, Mohsen
