Yicks, I was not clear enough then. ;-)

When the uploader requests a file, it sends X-Alt: along with
its request.  If the uploads is PFS-ing the file, then it will
include itself in the X-Alt set.  If it does not, then it will not.
That's as simple as that.

And GTKG simply parses X-Alt and blindly adds the listed locations
to the mesh for that file.
