Hi, I've noticed that when running GTKG in ultrapeer mode I don't have the slightest problem to get connected. Thus, if you can't get it connected after several minutes, you might try to force ultrapeer mode. Of course, this is just a workaround, don't misuse it by running in ultrapeer mode on a 56Kbps connection. I think there is either a problem in GTKG or other vendors' servents. This might be caused by preferring leaves of the same vendor [as the ultrapeer]. So maybe the ultrapeers should be more careful with reporting hosts. Otherwise, the every vendor is going to create its own clustered island. In this case one could as well drop any interoperability.
