Ok, sorry. I've looked in the public IRC log and I now remember you said
something like "soon" a couple of times. However, IRC isn't very reliable,
there a netsplits and it's not like I read the logs to check whether I've
missed anything. I handle my mails with care and answer at an appropriate
time, I can't and won't do so for every single line on IRC. Although asking
whether anyone would object and saying that you will actually release it at
day x isn't really the same.

Alright. I myself won't backport anything. I have time but I have no
time for that.

BTW, I'd highly appreciate if you provided a checksum and if possible
a signature. No matter whether anyone can verify the owner of the key,
a signature is always better than a checksum alone.
