Hi, As of a cvs update of yesterday (same today - 2004-06-12, GTK1) with no change today, upon startup, a complete rescan of the shared file database is instigated. I believe the file_mtime contained within sha1_cache is intended to inhibit the scan of files that are unmodified, and has always appeared to work that way.
This causes a problem in that access time is lost, which I really like (in order to identify "old" unaccessed files). While I could easily capture atime before gtk-gnutella startup, and then correct the times, it seems like a rather unnecessay operation. I am guessing this occurs in ignore.c which appears to have relevant code.
