Hey, that sounds good, doesn't it!
I'm using debian, but didn't install the debian package of gtk-gnutella, 
because it was completely outdated.

Since gtkg as well as the gnutella network as a whole are developing 
very fast, it is really important to have an up-to-date version of 
gtkg. Very old versions can actually harm the network and can therefore 
be banned by newer clients.

I would really appreciate to have up-to-date debian packe of gtkg 
(although I personally will stick to the bleeding edge CVS versions).
