I think the BSD folks have issued a global change that is retroactive to all the code published that removed that acknowledgment clause. :Unless every contributor to gtk-gnutella agrees to make an exception :to OpenSSL, we should not distribute a gtk-gnutella linked to it. :Perhaps, we should try another library, like GNU TLS. Perhaps. It's also possible that we might have to implement our own version of an SSL stack to be able to combine SSL with bandwidth management.
