Hi people I think there is a bug relating to the public hostname feature. I found this while trying to download from one node to another.
The main actors are: Node1: gtk-gnutella/0.95u (2004-09-19) trying to download Node2: gtk-gnutella/0.95u (2004-09-26) sharing, having its ip change and having a public hostname set Node1 tries to download five files from Node2, one of which gets queued in Queue [1], the other four in Queue [2]. It has to stay in Queue [1] for quite some time (one week?), the files in Queue [2] are served within a few hours. After one or two days (IP of Node2 changed a few times) when I have a look back at the queue progress I see multiple sources with the same public hostname/port pair and gtk-g treats them as such resulting in 403 Retry after not honoured. So I'm unable to download the file. Still looking forward to 0.95 :) best regards Jonas ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IT Product Guide on ITManagersJournal Use IT products in your business?
