This might only apply to the German version of it. There seems to be an eBay search plugin included in Firefox. Instead of sending those eBay searches directly to eBay, they're handled by a "dubious" third-party business and it's not clear what they use the data for. The Mozilla foundation even receives money from this deal and you might wonder how the business makes profit from this.
