Interesting. Would by any chance OSX have a braindead implementation of a file system, wereby things would be case insensitive? If yes, then you must remove the "configure" wrapper and only keep "Configure" around. Obviously, you have the wrong "Configure", i.e. you really have "configure" there. If not, then I have no idea why it would recurse like that.
