If I set LC_ALL to ja_JP.eucJP I have to remove fontset="-efont-*..." from ~/.gtkrc. In contrast, if I use LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 and LC_MESSAGES=jp_JP, I have to enforce -efont-*... as fontset for GTK+. Regarding the tooltips, I'll have a peek at the GTK+ code to see under which circumstances line breaks are included. -- Christian
