In the GTK1, there is an another error doesn't seem fatal currently.

error : xmlEncodeEntitiesReentrant : input not UTF-8
output conversion failed due to conv error
Bytes: 0xF6 0xC1 0xB0 0xBD
I/O error : encoder error
05/01/21 16:33:11 (WARNING): Unable to create ~/.gtk-gnutella/
searches.xml.new to persist search: Error 0
(repeat while running)

PS. If my guess is not wrong, that doesn't concerned with filter
only, I think it's the one of UTF-8 issue, i.e. in the GTK1 version
of gtkg, an UTF-8 filename on the pulled up file information panel
turns blanket, namely UTF-8 as it is, while it appears (almost)
properly in the search results pane.

At downloaded filename it seems to be converted native codeset
in the GTK1 while keeps UTF-8 in the GTK2.

Glib-2.0 has the function g_locale_from_utf8() might be decent way,
however in the GTK1, I have no idea without additional coding in
the src/lib/utf8.c.

Thanks in advance.
