It might be a little too late for 0.95.1, anyway:

 po/fr.po needs to be updated i.e., entries marked with ", fuzzy"
 should be checked as to whether the translation is still correct.
 This is usually the case, but sometimes gettext uses a weird
 alternate.

 Further, the Plural-Forms header should be added so that plural
 forms using ngettext() are properly handled. The proper header
 for french is this:

 "Plural-Forms: nplurals=2; plural=n>1;\n"

 Instead of just "msgid" and "msgstr", you'll find something like
 this:

 msgid "file"
 msgid_plural "files"
 msgstr[0] ""
 msgstr[1] ""

 So msgstr[0] takes the singular form and msgstr[1] the plural
 form. Sometimes plural and singular are identical (a German
 example would be "Knoten" which means "node or "nodes" depending
 on the context).
