No the .t file is generated by glade (for Gtk+ 1.2). Instead of
letting xgettext extract the translatable strings from interface-glade.c,
you let it extract them from interface-glade.t. The place holders
should be removed from the .t file first. I think it should also be
sorted to keep the CVS noise lower. I believe the leading "gchar *s ="
is redundant though, it's not C anyway.
In any case, I'd just use sed not Perl.
