Quoting Lloyd Bryant <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> from ml.softs.gtk-gnutella.devel:
:I'm going to start digging though the code to see what it will take to make
:the search-specific option work. If that can be implemented without too
:much hassle, then there's really no use for the extension-based option.

I'm not thrilled by having a download directory per extension, because
sorting can always be applied easily post-downloading, as Christian pointed
out already.

However, I think being able to specify a download directory per search
makes sense.

Searches should also be editable. Today, their search string is immutable.
which is a pain when you mistype the query or wish to change it, whilst
continuing to aggregate results in the same window.

But the download directory (for "completed downloads") should also be
settable from the Download panes, that is once the download has started and
until it is completed with its SHA1 verified.
