If you click the right pointer button (or hit shift-F10), you can enable this
in the context menu at "Preferences->Make current sorting default".  The
searches you create afterwards will use this sort order too. You can change the
sort key and order anytime by clicking on the column headers.

I would not recommend enabling this auto-sorting though because it wastes a lot
of CPU time.
