I am attempting to install gimp 1.0.4. So I installed glib1.2.7 following
the instructions in the INSTALL file. Installed with no errors. Continue
with installing GTK1.2.7 following the INSTALL file. The ./configure dies
saying that the test program compiled but failed to run, that glib1.2.7
can't be found or incorrect version or LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not set.
I'm accepting all of the defaults as I am new to Solaris.
Running on a Sun Ultra10, SunOS Release 5.7 Generic.
I hope there is a fix for this. The box is on a closed network so direct
downloads are not possible. I have to download to another machine and then
burn to a CD.
I have subscribed to this list but haven't gotten confirmation yet, so
please email solutions directly to me.
