It's not directly Gnome related (or Gtk for that matter), so I'll float it
here first.
Where in the Helix Updater's code does it pop up the "root's Password:"
prompt? I've been combing over the code and cannot find it. As a matter of
fact, it does this (paracode):
if(UID)
exit(0);
I do not update as root, and it certainly doesn't exit. It prompts me for
root's password. I'm looking at the code supplied in the Redhat6.x SRPM from
ftp.helixcode.com.
