Text of a gtk_ctree_node

I get a node a of ctree with the commands

....
tmp = GTK_CLIST (ctree1)->selection->data;
node = gtk_ctree_find_node_ptr (GTK_CTREE (ctree1), GTK_CTREE_ROW (tmp));
....

How can I get the label of the node that I put on it when I created it?
