im not sure what you mean, i really didnt do anything special to configure GtkExtra,
what do you mean by GTK_CONFIG?
checking for gtk-config... (cached) /usr/local/bin/gtk-config
checking for GTK - version >= 1.2.0... yes
and it was fine......
i say again, make sure you have the Gtk+ development package or installed that from
source, and make sure ldconfig is up to date.
also, you are trying gtk+extra 0.99.10, correct? (most recent version)
i dont recall any problems with prior versions, but you never know.....
