Hi all
There is one, called Advanced GtkFileSel, that adds nav buttons and filters.
I've been using it for a couple of months now and it works fine. And all you
have to do is patch and recompile Gtk+, no changes to the applications.
Find it at Freshmeat->Appindex->Development->Widget
