I've built a main window as a dialog and
have used a vbox to arrange them.
In this vbox I'm putting a drawing area and It gets the size i want
but I also put in a status bar at the bottom and it turnes out
to be just as large as the draw area. I need it to be small
and have tried
gtk_widget_set_usize(status_bar,-1,30);
THe -1 is just a guess that would put it to wide as possible.
