RE: GTK+ 1.2.8 on Solaris 8 (Sparc)

I've been using GTK+ 1.2.x on Solaris 8 for some time now with no platform specific problems. I have a Ultra 5 Workstation with Solaris 8 and Sun Workshop Visual version 5.0, which still defaults to building things as 32bit. I have not tried build the library or any applications that use it as 64 bit.   I've also compiled the glib/gtk libraries and applications on Solaris versions 2.5.1, 2.6, and 7 with no problem.
