I think Glade's goal are rather different to mine's, so
managing the interface around it will become tougher than it is currently.

Ok, I guess it'll do the job.
And hardcoded widget positions are bad in a lot of cases (I hate a lot of
Windoze dialogs because of that), but for database entry forms are acceptable.
