hi,
today, i had a look at the 2.0 api and the new text widget. i am very
glad to see, that the text widget will get some features which i miss.
for some days i did start to port the tktext widget to gtk. in the new
api reference if found some related description of the ideas which are
very closed to the ideas behind the tktext, but not all. will the new
text widget have the same functionality like the tktext widget? i found
out that the widget will use tags and bindings (like in tk). will it
also possible to add windows and images like in tk, and to change the
appearence of tagged text if i change the tag properties?
