when i compile gtk+-1.2.9 i get an error when i tries to find X, then it
tells me it can't find X library or include files. i set the option to tell
where it can find it, /usr/X11R6/lib for the libraries, and
/usr/X11R6/include for the include files, but the /usr/X11R6/include
directory just has bitmaps and pixmaps. i've come think that i need the X
include files, but i don't know where to find them. i've done searches but
could not find them. would appreciate any help to rememdy this problem
