GTK_WARNING and GTK-CRITICAL

My code compiles but when I run it I get these two lines.

Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from (NULL) pointer to `GtkObject'

Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtksignal.c: line 724 (gtk_signal_connect):
assertion `object != NULL' failed.


I have no clue where it comes from

Anybody have an idea of what is wrong
