Hi, After successfully installing gtk2.0.0 to two RH7.2 pc's using the rpm's I have just tried installing gtk2.0.1 to a third machine using the new rpm's. I followed exactly the same protocol and everything loaded ok. The gtk-demo program runs without errors. However if I try to compile my own (or the "hello world" program) I get an error: "/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.96/../../../libpangoxft-1.0.so:undefined reference to`FT-Get_Next_Char`. It seems I am missing a library or the linker path is wrong. The machine is running exactly the same version of RH7.2 as the other two so I am a bit mystified. Do I need something extra with 2.0.1 which I didn't need with 2.0.0? Any advice much appreciated. Nick Soffe.
