Hello, I'm programming a MIDI arranger with a built-in patch editor. I'm starting off with the main panel, which is a 16-channel "mixer" having widgets for patch selection, volume control, three effect sends and patch editor activation. I can't get 16 columns of range widgets to fit 800x600. The vertical volume range widgets are not the problem. They fit fine. I need to fit the other widgets above that one. I tried horizontal range widgets (vertical ones would be unsuitable), but their minimum width wasn't minimum enough. Any suggestions?
I recetly removed the last remnants of Windows from my computers, so I am without the good Yamaha MU10 synthesizer control software I had there. This is a demand-driven project, as I only have the cheap sounding factory presets available to me now. My previous software, XG-Gold, allowed extensive editing of almost all the MU10's parameters. I'd like to develop a similar piece of software for Linux. MU10 is Yamaha XG compatible, so making an editor for the MU10 means making an editor for all Yamaha synthesizers with an equal or higher level of functionality. -- Thor _______________________________________________ gtk-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-list
