Someone was asking about alternative file chooser widgets, I think it was on this list.
I'm working on one right now: http://www.efalk.org/Widgets/FileSelect-G.gif This is a port of one I wrote a long time ago for Athena/Motif: http://www.efalk.org/Widgets/#fileselect Still needs a little work; I'm still fine-tuning the keyboard accelerators. It has some nice features such as file-completion.
