Hi,

You must install Gtk+ 2.0 not Gtk+ 1.2. Take a look at
http://www.gtk.org/ for more information about Gtk+ 2.0 and its
dependencies.

If you want to use Gtk+ 1.2 you need to change your Makefile adding
your Gtk+ 1.2 flags.
