I am on FreeBSD 4.7, trying to build GTK+
I'm getting a configure error building glib-2.8.6
checking for iconv_open... no
checking for libiconv_open in -liconv... no
checking for iconv_open in -liconv... no
configure: error: *** No iconv() implementation found in C library or libiconv
This is most confusing because I have built and installed libiconv-1.9.1/
within the past half hour.
Libraries have been installed in:
/usr/local/lib
