Hi,
glib-2.13.1 introduced the memory corruption message, when g_thread_init
wasn't called before any other glib functions. Now with 2.13.7, the
necessity of this call is gone.
I was able to get a patch checked into the trunk for mozilla products,
that g_thread_init is called at first. As a corresponding patch for the
Branch (firefox-2.0.0.x) is still pending, my question is, if I should
still go now to get the patch into the mozilla branch? To be precise, is
it still recommended to call g_thread_init at first if possible or is
now just a matter of "taste" or is it even worse to patch programs that
do not use the g_thread_init call convention?
Thanks alot for suggestions Walter
