Hello,
I'm trying to compile irssi on an AIX machine and it depends on glib. Glib
passes the configure checks just fine, but fails pretty spectacularly when I
go to 'make' it. Below is a snippet of the failure:

This is glib-2.8.6 - I am unable to compile the latest version either for
the same reasons. This is an error that I've never encountered before and
I'm not sure where to turn.
My ultimate goal would be to get irssi compiled on AIX, so if anyone has any
shortcuts that would allow me to sidestep this problem, that would be great.
